FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
1. What are my payment options? All purchases through our website must be made using a major credit card.
2. What Brand of products do you sell? We sell only genuine OEM SATURN factory original parts and accessories. We are an authorized SATURN dealership (SATURN of Glen Burnie, MD). For questions on item information and included components, please thoroughly read all product descriptions before contacting us. A lot of the time, your questions will be answered in the descriptions section of an item.
3. Do you offer local pickup? Local pickup is available. Just specify you are picking up your order instead of having it shipped in the customer comments section. You'll still receive your email confirmation when your parts are in and your order is complete/ready for pickup.
4. How will my item be shipped? All orders are shipped via UPS. Some larger body orders (i.e. aero-kits, bumpers, hoods, etc.) may be shipped via Con-Way. You will be notified via email which carrier we are using, along with a tracking number. We add the shipping charges when we process the order. The shipping charges are based on size and weight of the package. We only charge what UPS charges us...this keeps our prices as low as possible. 5. What if I want to upgrade to faster shipping on a part that comes w/ free ground shipping? We'll cover the difference between the cost of ground shipping and the upgraded shipping. (Example: $25.00 2nd day air - $10.00 ground shipping = $15.00 shipping charge for 2nd day air)
6. Can you ship to a P.O. Box or APO address? No, UPS does not deliver to P.O. Boxes or APO addresses. We are in the process utilizing different carriers so we'll be able to ship to these addresses in the near future.
7. Do you charge sales tax? We charge sales tax only to Maryland customers. If you are out of the state of Maryland, you are tax exempt.
8. Can I combine shipping if I purchase multiple items? If you're purchasing an item that includes free ground shipping, you may add parts to that order as long as they are not considered "oversized" or "overweight" by UPS. We do our best to pack all items into one shipment. Our policy is to only charge what UPS charges us to ship orders....this enables us to keep our prices as low as possible for our customers. All "oversized" or "overweight" shipments are subject to a $40.00 surcharge since UPS charges us this.
9. How long before my item is shipped? We ship both International and Domestic packages Monday-Friday. All orders that are instock usually ship the same day ordered. If you order late on Friday, Saturday or Sunday your item will ship Monday if the parts are instock. All orders for parts not instock only take 2 - 3 business days for us to get from SATURN (as long these parts are not on backorder). We then try our best to ship these special order parts the day we recieve them. We will notify you of any backordered parts and try to provide an estimated time of arrival.
10. Will I receive a tracking number? Yes. You will be emailed a tracking number through our online system. Be sure to check your junk folder as your spam filter may filter our emails.
11. Why didn’t I receive tracking information? Is your email address correct in your account? Did you check your spam filter? EVERY purchase will receive a minimum of TWO emails, Order confirmation & Tracking Information.
12. How do you ship International packages? All International packages are shipped via UPS. Please email (saturnpartsdepot@mileone.com) for international ordering instructions or shipping quotes. Please include your full shipping address if requesting a shipping quote.
13. Will you mark the customs paperwork as "Gift" or lower the dollar value? We mark all customs forms with truthful and accurate information based on the sales price of an item.
14. How is your customer service? We strive to provide the best customer service around. Contact saturnpartsdepot@mileone.com for any questions, concerns, or problems you may have.
15. My item arrived damaged or missing parts? We insure every package, so if your item arrives damaged please file a claim with UPS, save the shipping box for UPS to inspect if needed. Notify us via email (saturnpartsdepot@mileone.com) so we can arrange a replacement item or refund when UPS Claim is processed. **Always inspect your order upon recieving it! We can not do anything about a damaged part if you contact us a week after you recieve it!
16. What if receive the wrong item? There may be a rare occasion where the wrong item is shipped or mis-packaged. Please email us so we can get the issue handled. Check to see if the part # on your package matches the invoice you received; or if there are any special notes that a part has superceeded to a new number.
17. Do you accept returns/exchanges? Yes, we do accept returns and exchanges on brand new, never installed parts within 30 days of purchase. All returns on special order parts (parts we do not keep in stock) are subject to a 20% restocking fee. To process a return, follow the instructions on the bottom of your packing slip. Write your order number on the outside of the package as your RMA number. All parts returned must have the original SATURN label and box they came in. No returns will be accepted without these. Please email us the tracking # of the return so we can monitor its arrival. Once the parts are recieved, we'll inspect for damage or installation and then issue a credit to your credit card. For an exchange, we'll charge your credit card for the new part, and issue you a credit on the part being returned when we recieve it.
18. Why did I owe money when my package arrived on my International shipment? All duties, taxes, broker fees, import taxes, (Canadian GST, PST, QST), etc. that your country might charge are your responsibility to pay at the time you receive your item. If you choose, you can have UPS bill us the duties/taxes upfront, and we'll bill you upfront so you should not owe anything once the package arrives. If you still owe, it is your responsibility.
19. What if I have an issue after my item arrives? If you have an issue with your order please contact us at saturnpartsdepot@mileone.com and we will do whatever we can to resolve the issue to your satisfaction.
20. What if I have a warranty issue? All OEM SATURN parts/accessories we sell carry a 12 month warranty valid at any SATURN dealership. The warranty needs are done on a repair order. This means you must go to your local SATURN dealership and have the warranty issue resolved. Make sure you hold onto your original SATURN of Glen Burnie sales receipt we enclose with every shipment.
21. How do I get a price quote if I have part numbers? You can always check pricing if you have part numbers by simply keying them into the "search by factory part number" field on our homepage.
22. How do I find part numbers? You can search the vairous online sites (i.e. realoem.com) to look up your own part numbers or contact us directly w/ the last 8 digits of your vin number for help.
23. How do I redeem coupon codes? Since we discounted ALL our OEM SATURN parts and accessories by 20%+, we've done away with coupon codes. Our specials are discounted even more, from 25 - 35% off MSRP! No other discounts will be applied on top of these.
24. When is my credit card charged? We only charge your credit card once all parts are in stock and shipping out . If an order is cancelled after it is shipped we will charge your card the appropriate 20% restocking fee.
25. Do you ship liquids, airbags, and other HAZMAT items? As of right now, we can not ship hazardous materials via UPS. We are working on getting our HAZMAT certification. As soon as we do, we'll be able to ship these items.
26. Why do the price of some items change? We reserve the right to make pricing changes based on what we pay for the parts from SATURN. When they raise the price, we must raise the price and vice versa. If you were quoted some pricing and the prices change before you submit an order, we reserve the right to stay w/ our new pricing.
