The TRD performance air intake system replaces the factory inlet air duct, air cleaner lid, air filter and inlet system hose assembly and reduces the air inlet system restriction by 18%. The TRD system is 50 state emissions legal and maintains the full factory warranty. A unique Intake Flow Accelerator (IFA) smoothes and accelerates the air flow into the TRD inlet system. A reusable high flow conical air filter is used inside an injection molded air box. The air box is a rugged design and has the red TRD logo on top. The air box also includes a spot for the TRD filter service gauge. The filter service gauge takes the guess work out of knowing when to clean your air filter. Now in any type of driving environment (city streets, highway, off-road) you will know when to clean your filter. The TRD performance air intake system boosts horsepower and torque.
