The interface kit for iPod uses a proprietary 30-pin Apple iPod connector via connection point in the glove compartment to provide a direct connection from an iPod to the vehicle head unit, allowing the driver to control the iPod using either the steering pad or audio system controls.

Some base grade audio are not satellite ready
Either iPod or Sat Radio can be installed, not both
If the iPod Interface kit is conflicted, then the AUX input jack should be used with the iPod player
