| The interface kit for iPod uses a proprietary 30-pin Apple iPod connector via connection point in the glove compartment to provide a direct connection from an iPod to the vehicle head unit, allowing the driver to control the iPod using either the steering pad or audio system controls.

o Conflicts with MY2010 Camry
o Conflicts with MY2011 Corolla & Matrix
o MY10 & MY11 4 Runner requires Satellite Ready base audio (D4)
o Requires audio head unit to be satellite ready
o Some premium audio units have embedded XM and conflict with the iPod Interface kit
o The 2009 Corolla and 2009 Matrix with Premium Audio (JBL) has embedded XM and conflicts with the iPod Interface
o Some base grade audio are not satellite ready
o Either iPod or Sat Radio can be installed, not both
o If the iPod Interface kit is conflicted, then the AUX input jack should be used with the iPod player
